To keep them happy, give them a tank with soft, slightly acidic water, good filtration, and gentle water flow. Pack the bottom with sand or fine gravel and add lots of hiding spots, think plants, caves, or driftwood. Feed them sinking pellets, flakes, and treats like brine shrimp or bloodworms. They get along well with other peaceful fish, especially their own kind, so keep at least five together.
