The principal, Tom Short, is a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU). Tom is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Finance. We are members of the local National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) and the Society of Financial Professionals (FSP). Tom is also a member of Business Network International (BNI) which is a business to business referral group. He has been a member of the San Antonio Chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) since 1992 and developed that association’s group health plan for all of their membership in the past. He is a charter member of the Transportation and Contracting Advisory Board (TCAB) which is a group of experts committed to helping small businesses succeed by helping them learn new methods to grow in the Transportation and Contracting fields.

Tom has been a resident of San Antonio for over 45 years and resides there with his spouse and has two adult sons. When he is not attending to the needs of his busy practice and family, he spends his time hunting, playing golf and snow skiing.
