As a client of Group Health Plus, you receive access to ETC HR, LLC. They can guide your firm to becoming ERISA compliant and guide you through the legalities of the Affordable Care Act. As a client of Group Health Plus, you are entitled to a two hour training webinar on ACA 101 and general HR hot topics. Any legal work done by ETC HR, LLC will be heavily discounted because of your relationship with Group Health Plus.

Individual Health Insurance

We provide health insurance to individuals that are not covered through their employers and self employed business owners. We provided both on and off exchange health plans. We provide the guidance needed to determine subsidy eligibility and help with purchasing coverage on the Federal Health Exchange if you are eligible for a subsidy.

Business Continuation Planning

If you had retired, died, or became disabled yesterday who would own and manage your business today? Would you want your business interest retained for a family member, sold, or liquidated? Will the funds be available to complete the purchase at your death, disability, or retirement? Will there be sufficient funds available to allow for a planned liquidation? These and many other questions are addressed in our business continuation planning process that includes the use of Buy Sell Agreements.

Estate Planning

With a simple "I Love You” will, all assets are generally left to the surviving spouse at the first spouses death. The unlimited marital deduction is applied and no estate taxes are paid on the first transfer, meaning that the unified credit amount…the amount that can be transferred to anyone free of estate tax…is wasted at the first spouse’s death. As a result, at the surviving spouse’s death, the estate may be more heavily taxed, resulting in shrinkage in the size of the estate that is ultimately received by the heirs. With the help of our referral law partners, trust arrangements can be set up to minimize this shrinkage in the estate.

Retirement Planning

When should I start taking Social Security benefits? How do I maximize the amount of benefits that I am entitled to receive? What factors do I need to consider in order to make the correct decision? These and other questions are answered with our Social Security Maximization process. Will I have enough money to retire at a certain point in time? We will analyze your current budget and your retirement budget by comparing all expenses and income sources. Any gaps in needed income at the time of your preferred retirement age will be addressed and solutions laid out in a simple format.

Non-Qualified Supplemental Retirement Plans

We can set up supplemental retirement plans for yourself and the key employees of your company. These plans are non-qualified, so you can pick and choose who you want to include in the plan. These plans are primarily designed to retain Key employees and are also known as Golden Handcuff plans.

We represent all of the major carriers for term, whole life and universal life insurance. We also work with fixed, and equity indexed annuities.
